Default The selling of America...China Eyes 50 Square Mile Idaho Land Grab...

Wonder if they'll be supplying "Mandarin for Dummies" to the locals?

As economic power shifts to Asia, Idaho's location makes it a prime site for an industrial foothold.

A Chinese national company is interested in developing a 10,000- to 30,000-acre technology zone for industry, retail centers and homes south of the Boise Airport.

Officials of the China National Machinery Industry Corp. have broached the idea based on a concept popular in China today to city and state leaders.

They are also interested in helping build and finance a fertilizer plant near American Falls, an idea company officials returned to Idaho this month to pursue.

This ambitious, long-term proposal would start with a manufacturing and warehouse zone tied to the airport, and could signify a shift in the economic relationship between the two superpowers a relationship once defined by U.S. companies like the J.R. Simplot Co., Hewlett-Packard and Morrison-Knudsen that would head to China to build and develop.......

To date the Chinks have only dealt in cash
or treasuries for trade with the US.
They have bought nothing in the US.
They have invested nothing in the US.
Now they want to buy farmland?????....

Sell it to them...

Hope they have the means to airlift all
of their ****ing farming needs to the site.

If not.. They will have to suck on these
little American nuts to get some action...

They do this crap in other countries. One I'm familiar with in Canada they bought a coal mine, brought in Chinese laborers, ship all the coal to the seaport, load it on a Chinese ship and off it goes to the motherland. Meanwhile, there is very little outside interference from the Fed or provincial government. It's DAMN scary actually. They are positioning themselves to do the same thing with rare earths in northern Quebec.

The same is going on in Australia, much of Africa, and especially in the middle east. China is sucking up all the natural resources it can get it's hands on.

Meanwhile, we can't drill for oil, develop the kaiparowits plateau coal (because of the Chinese and their donations to the Clintoons!) and in the rare circumstances when we can, there's TONS of regulatory nonsense and red tape that HAS to be gone through in order to keep the gummit slugs looking busy.

It's no wonder our grandchildren will speak Chinese.
