Default Second most visited grave at Arlington

Not counting the tomb of the unknown, after JFK's grave what is the second most visited grave in Arlington National Cemetary.

Had to go look it up. Suprising, but he is certainly a hero.

I would have guessed General of the Armies John J. Pershing but, it's not him. Bobby Kennedy was another guess.

Geez, no one wants to wait or guess.

The correct answer is WWII hero Audie Murphy. There was a good background on him by Peggy Noonan in Sat. WSJ

All I can say is, it's impossible to visit Arlington and not leave a changed person.

I was last there in 1969 when I was in the Marines, took a trip on a weekend to DC. It does truly impact you, 40 years later I still remember.

I buried my Dad in 07 at Bushnell in Florida. That is also incredible, there were at least a dozen ongoing internments while I was there.
