Raced by Dale Armstrong in the Lone Star Region of SCCA in the late 70s and early 80s. Car ran as ASR since it did not have doors until they combined the classes then it ran as GT1. Powered by a twisted 355. Many runs at TWS before the current track layout. He's talk about helmet lift really feeling freaky the first few times. As a 10 year old kid, it was cool to hear and feel him coming off the bank in turn 4 and have him pass me at start/ finish while I was standing against the fence. He may have been doing 165-170, I was stading 20 feet from the car when it passed. The thunder still makes me smile....thanks dad....
