Among the usual throng of Mustangs, super cars and yes, Vettes, this is is what brought the phone from my pocket today. There was a ‘23 Z06 there (!) but I was too enamored with the sounds it made to take any pics.

This was my best car I owned shortly after my divorce. For about ten years, this was the car I drove from about 3 in the morning until I made a call whether or not to have school or a 2 hour delay due to snow or ice....as Director of Transportation for the Rainier School
District. Nothing except downed trees ever stopped this and I only left the road once in 15 years of this. I also autocrossed this car after adding stiffer anti sway bars and lower, stiffer springs....rebuilt the engine as well.....great little car and plenty of room inside for 6'5" me. This pic was, as seen, before I sold it. My current wife's 66 short/wide in the background.
