Here's a great blue heron stalking his prey. Shot from my back yard.

I shot this wet hawk from inside my bedroom on a snowy fall day.

All I have to show for today's outing. Ain't much but it's all I got.
Canon R5, RF 100-500 with the 1.4 for an effective focal length of 700mm.

This isn’t anywhere close to the skill shown in the previous postings.

For decades there has been a roaming flock of wild green parrots in our suburban area. They go from area to area around the same time each day. On my morning walk today, I heard them screeching (they don’t sound as pretty as they look) and looked up, and saw close to 20 of them in a very tall tree (camphor, I think). I snapped a few photos with my phone, aiming to photograph a cluster in a branch (there were about 15 more on the next couple of branches over) with the moon nearby.

Incredible shots! And what a great hobby
My newest hobby is learning new languages, at the moment it is Spanish, which i wanted to learn for a long time already.
With the different translation services https://pickwriters.com/top-10-translation-services it is much easier than back in the days.
Technology definitely have a lot of advantages.

This red-tailed hawk was looking for an easy kill in my back yard today before the snowfall began.
