Default Dyno Done. Happy.

Got my ride on the Dyno yesterday. Came out pretty dang good. Running a LQ9 shortblock, stock LS3 heads, Gwatney ported LS3 intake, ported LS2 TB, headers, X-pipe, Borla axle back, Pat G 227/236 cam, Yank SS3600.

Made 442/412 through the auto. Thanks for the spec Pat.

Very nice, where did you find/how much was that shortblock?

Engine is actually a GM LS364/450 crate. I paid a shade over $4k for it. LQ9s can be found in junkyards and on LKQ though. I just preferred going the crate engine route.

Nice numbers.
I assume the rod mod was done to the intake as well as the porting?

I am shooting for similar numbers with my LS3 top end LQ9 in my 84 C4. It has stock intake and 220/224 .575/.575 112 cam, headers, c6 CAI, LS3 MAF and underdrive pulley. Made 420/410 STD a while back. Likely 430ish now after some more tuning. I want to put in a stage 2 or 3 BTR/TSP cam, rod mod the intake and go e85 soon. Hoping for 460+ SAE through my TKO 5spd manual.

yes it has the rod mod. Through a manual, you’ll. Probably easily make that power.
