Default Cam swap to make a h/c zo6

The car is a 2003 zo6 and as it sits has the following mods:

What sounds and appears to be a stock cam
Afr 205 heads
Comp 1.75 roller rockers
.080 wall 7.4 pushrods
Fast 78mm intake
Haltec intake
Obx longtubes 1 3/4" with off-road x
Borla stinger catback
Twin disk clutch
The car made 403/396 on a dyno jet with all above

I just purchased the following to add/replace some stuff:
Custom 235/239 668/644 112+2 cam
PAC .700 springs
.105 wall 7.4 pushrods
Fast 92mm intake
Ported ls2 throttle body
Power bond 25% under drive
160 degree thermostat

I'll be curious to see what it makes now!

If you have a stock cam now, then I'll guess a bit over 450 with the changes you're making... should keep you happy....

Yea I was kinda thinking the same. The fast and under drive should add at least 10 itself.

Are you sure on the cam lift?
That's a buttload of lift, and I highly doubt it has a chance of working with stock pistons.

Curious how you chose that if the numbers are correct?

You better check PTV with that cam. And, how do you know how long the pushrods are going to be without measuring preload?

What are your goals? Seems odd that someone went through the expense of installing AFR heads without installing a new cam and all the other things you've mentioned you want to change.

Good luck with your goals.

Ptv clearance will be checked.

I thought the same about the heads but won't know exactly what cam is in it until we remove it.

Pushrods length with be verified but the rockers are adjustable

I didn't spec the cam so can't speak fully on it. I know he said it has a small duration so should leave plenty of ptv clearance as long as the heads aren't shaved.

As far as goals, I just wanted to make decent power. Kinda wanted to make over 450 but more curious to see what it makes than anything.

Specs are correct. Martin at tick performance speced it.

Martin spec'd the cam in my turbo LS. Runs like a champ. Martin does great stuff, and is a good guy!

It ended up making 447/404. Picked up power all across the board. Even picked up 20 tq down lower where most bigger cams typically don't shine. No, it's no record breaker or dyno queen but should pull pretty good. Doesn't even nose over at 7000 rpm. I'll try to post a dyno graph of before and after later.

The car is still at my tuner getting the drivability worked out. Can't wait to get it back!
