Default Average H/C/I Z06 1/4 mile

What do you guys think the 'average' Heads, Cam, intake C5 Z06 should be able to do in the 1/4 mile in good air / track prep?

When I say average I mean something like this:

1 3/4 long tubes with catless xpipe and stock TI catback
Cold air intake with stock LS6 intake manifold and TB
227/233 medium to small sized cam
Ported stock 243 heads by Advanced Induction
mcleoud clutch with light weight flywheel

Not a max effort setup but not on the super mild side either.

low 11's @ 124-127 id say is an average # in good air, decent driver, good track prep.

i went 11.27 @ 125 on a 230/234 cam and bolt ons. 429whp/400 trq. id expect 3-4 mph , 40rwhp +/- gain on a good set of heads. not sure if that would land me a 10.99 but i would think it would be close

Was that 10.7 rowing gears or through an auto?

I wish I would have ran mine with some DR's.

414rw is a good number for a geared, stalled, auto. Was that cam only. Always wondered what my Z would have run with a stalled auto.

I agree with Brett.
With a good 60'( low 1.5x) and all the parameters listed by the OP, I would expect the car to sneak into the 10's.

...But it won't be easy without practice and or guidance from someone who is familiar with running a stick vette at the strip.

Like Rob said, it is all in the driving and DA. For most people it will take a minimum of 450rw in your standard M6/MN12 trans car with stock gears. 470rw will get you into the high tens pretty consistently. If you want to know anything about car set up and driving ask Rob. Him and his buddy's up there own the patent.
