First run at MIR with the GoPro
Not terribly disappointed with my best run of the night. I was able to muster a 12.166 @ 117.93 with a 1.942 60'. Got a little wobble on the 1-2 shift so I didn't get the 11.99 I was going for. I even removed the passenger seat! Oh well, I'll wait for the next Test & Tune and take my time. Midnight Madness sucks. Who wants to wait in line...?

May 18th is the next Test n Tune. I'm done with Midnight Madness. I hate having to wait in line until my class is called. I got 3 runs in 3 hours. At test n tune I was able to run 9 times in like 4 hours. And that's including cool down time. So much better.

Enjoy watching that camera angle...looked good, assume this was on street tires?

Yes it was. Haven't taken the plunge into DRs yet. Wasn't launching hard at all, as you can see haha. Those Hankooks were starving for traction. It's funny because I have another video from the same night. I stuck the camera on the passenger side of the halo, behind the window. But forgot to tighten one of the clamps. It was all well and good until I went through the traps at 117mph. The camera couldn't handle the speed and tilted back, rather abruptly I might add. I spun on that run but I'm definitely going to use that angle again. Makes for good sound.

Yeah, that's a good angle as well...I lost one off the back of car @140mph and it wasn't pretty picking up the pieces
