Default 11.5:1 416, TEA TFS 235, Fast 92, NW 92, Tick Custom cam 550/495

C5 Vette
-LS3 block
-4.070" x 4.00" x 6.125"
-11.7:1 compression
-TEA TFS 235cc cylinder heads, N20 Exhaust port, 67cc chambers
-Cometic 4.130" .040" gaskets
-Fast 102 with NW 92 TB
-Custom Tick Performance 237/248 .622/.595 112+4 camshaft
-PAC dual springs
-LS7 lifters
-T56 trans with DYAD twin disc Centerforce clutch
-3.90 rear gear

The car was hazing the tires on the rollers@115mph right around peak HP thus the drop in power. For the size of the cam in a 416 c.i. engine the customer and I are very happy with the combo.

The Total Engine Airflow heads I ordered really came through big time and that N20 Exhaust Port just works wonders with the right exhaust lobe and exhaust timing events.

Enjoy!

Very stout numbers, almost identical to my build except I have AFR 225's and a much different cam. Gotta love high compression NA motors, especially for the throttle response! Great job!

Just wanted to say thank you Martin for all your help, the car run and drives great, and the power is unbelievable. Now looking forward to spraying it with a 100 shot of N2O and see how it dose.

I've a similar combo, it is a ballistic/explosive package with those cylinder heads

Martin, I enjoy the comment about "hazing the tires" I fought that as the torque started building. As when I drive it, a little goofy.

No, thank YOU David! You guys give me the opportunity with builds like this to show my stuff and what Tick can do for others that want similar combos.

Without you guys putting your trust in me to deliver a strong combination there would be no thanks to give.

I'm glad you're happy with it.

I believe this car has 1x7/8" headers on it.

TFS 235's are a time and time again proven cylinder head. Always lays down the numbers AND track times to back it up. This car should have no trouble touching 130mph in the 1/4 on motor.

Haha! I was just teasing CTD!
He is my good friend and tuning mentor.
Someday, I'm going to get a ride in his monster, if he ever quits taking it apart. :-)

I just got rid of a big stroker motor for a baby LS with a itsy bitsy hair dryer.

Good to see you here.

Ron,

Ah ok, I see. Let me know when you fire that baby LS motor up. Your cam guy would like to hear the by product of his hard work.

Should easily trap 135mph here in TX if my little 5.7 FRC with ported 5.3 heads and a 218* cam that makes only 422rwhp can go 127mph

How the hell is that working out for you??? 127 seems ridiculously fast for a car with those mods and power.. What size gear and tire are you running?

This is on a Dynojet and the RWHP? Has this been to the track? I am new to this forum, but not new to racing. Curious about this build.
