My new ride...
Hi guys,
Picked up my new ride on 3/29/13
First outing was 4/5 at atco. Track prep was crappy but still managed a 10.15 on a 1.5x 60'
4/6/13. Street Car Shoot Out at Cecil County Dragway is a monthly series.
I entered Pro Dial and the 10.0 index.
In qualifying, I ran a 10.097@137 on another 1.5x 60'.
I softened up the rear shocks 2 clicks and headed into eliminations.
First up was pro dial. I wrote 10.00 on the windshield, and ran it out.
Thinking there was no way I was going to run the number, I ran it out the back door... Lost on a double break out and the other car crossed first.
9.959@136.52????? How did that happen?
Next up was the 10.0 index. I bumped in twice to kill ET and off we went.
I had a car length on my opponent by the 1000' so I lifted thinking he might have broken something, and I surely didn't want to break out again... Damn, his win light came on.
9.913@130.09...
So, new best for me and the car, but I'd gladly give it back for a win light...

Safety Car
First race with the car, you done good! From the looks of that time slip, the other guy either had serious issues, or he was messing with you. Hard to tell, he had you by a bunch on the tree.
9.70's in the car with 137mph......I bet!
Are you going to leave all the lettering on the car?
Thanks for the updates btw.

I have single adjustable QA1 shocks front and rear.
However, there are plenty of bone stock suspension cars with 1.3x/1.4x 60' times.
