First Dragrace with A&A Vortech S-Trim
Finally went to the dragstrip today to see what the car could do with the A&A Vortech v3 S-Trim that I had installed back in June by Speed Inc. Last year, I ran 12.58 @ 112mph with a 1.98 60ft with just full exhaust and a tune at 360rwhp/364rwtq.
Today, I ran the car with 572rwhp/482rwtq. I basically had to relearn how to drive the car all over again. I've never done a burnout before, so my first pass I gave them a quick spin and lined up. I absolutely blew the tires away in 1st and halfway through 2nd it gripped and then I missed 3rd and aborted the run. My 2nd pass I did a little better and ran a 12.6. Third pass was a 12.2. Five passes later I ran 11.9@127mph.
So my final pass of the day I decided to do a 2nd gear burnout from a recommendation of a friend. I used the brake and did my first burnout (first burnout EVER) in 2nd gear. The car crept forward, so that needs work. BUT, way more heat in the tire than before. Car ran 11.7@126.47mph with a 1.968 60ft. I still have a lot of work to do, but this was a fun day and I was able to drive the car home.

Great job! Finessing a stick car down the 1/4 mile is pretty fun huh?
Nice run. With some more practice, bottom 11's for sure.
Loved the last line....was able to drive the car home!

Definitely a lot of fun...and challenging. My launch needs a lot of work as well as my 2-3 shift.
Anyone have an idea of what the car is capable of with a decent driver?

Decent driver low 11's, good driver with seat time would be high 10's, which Can both be you, just keep at it and you will love I when u run Better and better times!
