Default 01 Z06 1/4 mile video

Hey guys, hit the track up here in saskatoon, Saskatchewan with my 01 z06, figured i would post up the video!

cut a .130 Reaction time, 1.587 60ft time, 7.35 660ft, and a overal run of 11.46 @ 119mph

Also got booted from the track until june 10th of next year for not having a cage and running faster than 11.50, but in reality id say it was somewhat worth it knowing i can run that. Im quite happy with my performance as bone stock c5 z06's up here cant break any quicker than 12.5's (altitude/track prep and who knows what other factors affect this)

By the way its a 01 z06 with heads/cam/headers/tune and mt 26x11.5x16's! Stock clutch and drivetrain Even STOCK 3.42's!

lemme know what you think: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aU2ccqyRV7Y&feature=plcp

Good run Boy that track is serious !! We typically get told to slow it down before getting booted.

Nice run!

I at least got 2 warnings before the don't do that again unless you have a roll bar letter.

I've never seen anybody kicked out of my home track. I was at a grudge racing event and they actually have a strict cerfew. Not a single car can make a pass after 10pm. In a frantic rush at 2 minutes to 10, I completely forgot to put on my helmet. I cracked off a 9.20 1/4 mile and nobody even said anything.... oops....

yeah, i had got one warning for running to fast without metal valve stems (nhra rule) wasnt supposed to run faster than 12.0, so i kept it under for most of the day, then my last run of the day i figured id just see what i could get being my 60ft's were coming along so well.. and well, that resulted in my ban. But it isnt a huge deal really considering it was the last race of the year, snow is gonna fly in a month, and i dont usually race that track as its a couple hour drive. but all the other tracks run the same rule book, so i guess a cage is going to be in store now that im running fast enough for one and still dont have my fast 92/90 with tsp 100mm maf setup installed.

I would have done the same. Thats the best part of my home track. Its not an NHRA track so we treat it like its a well prepped street with walls, LOL.
