better drag radial: MT or Hoosier?
Just picked up a set of OEM 17" thin spokes to mount drag radials for track days. Those with experience which is a better choice: MT or Hoosier 17" drag radials? Right now the car is a completely stock '04 A4 coupe. My goal (over time) is to add a Vararam, ECS tune, longtube headers, good exhaust, 3.42, and 3500 TC. I hope to have a very streetable, completely stock appearing, bolt-on C5 that runs in the high 11s consistently.
I've run Hoosier bias play DOT drag tires and the Hoosier DOT drag radials but that was on a 750hp '95 Impala SS that weighed 4,100lbs. and ran high 10s on nitrous. The Hoosiers worked well but this is a different deal and I would like advice from people with experience.
Thanks in advance.

on my '02 with heads/cam/stall/gears etc I run Mickey T's 275/40/17 ET Street Radials, on Z06 front rims, hook up pretty well, cutting 1.55 60' regularly, tried some Nitto DR's that didn't work as well for me, but worked better on my buddy's car, I've never tried the Hoosiers yet...

For your application, get the M/T 275/40/17 they'll hook well and last a lot lomnger than the hoosiers
