Smackdown MIR 9/6
Well here is how the day went....
438" LSx with a single 106mm turbo
1st hit off the trailer, track had been prepped maybe an hour earlier, track temps were around 55, Car hits the tires drives 40' out and spins, 1.29 60', I clicked it off
2nd hit - regapping #2 did the trick, boost was back, stood the car up, had to pedal
3rd hit - called Madman and he made the suspension call that worked perfect, first good shot the car nose came up 4" or so and bounced all the way to the 330'.
1.25 - 3.20 - 4.72 @ 162 1/8 mile pass 7.55 coasting
4th hit - we add some boost down low, not too much but just a little expecting a 69 or 70. Car responds, front came up 4" and ran it to the 1/8
1.25 - 3.18 - 4.70 @ 164 1/8 mile pass 7.53 coasting
5th hit - I got after the boost and it shook the tires 150' out and had to pedal it, was out of the throttle for .7 seconds
1.23 - 7.59 @ 198 - This pass would have been an EASY 4.66-4.67 looking at the acceleration
I had meant to come by with Ed and introduce myself but the afternoon got away from me. The car looks tough as nails though. It looks like a scary ride.
It was nice to finally meet you Ed, and thanks for offering your laptop and cable after I managed to pack 12 bags into Jason's truck but leave my cable Thankfully I had a delivery service bring it on up there.

We've been fighting the car all year to keep all 8 cylinders lit. We've got soo much compression in the cylinders it keeps droping random spark plugs. Once we get it to go from A to B with all 8 lit its going to easily go 210-220mph. It went 198 on 7 cylinders and we were outof the throttle for a second from .9 to 1.9 in the run. The car is an absolute blast to drive. It was nice meeting alot of the new corvetteforum guys!
It was great to watch your car fly down the track.
I can't imagine how much time you have into it. The car runs so well, you guys make it look easy. Continued success with it.

Rob,
Thanks man, I wanted to come by but we were so busy with between pass maintenance. Your car was on a rail for sure! There is still alittle left in your combo from looking at it run but it definitely hauls the mustard!
