Default New best last night!

I couldn't make it to the shootout, so I headed to Island last night instead. It was COLD and there was no wind. Track was just repaved and prepped pretty well, I was hopeful. First pass was a throw away. No water in the box, so no burnout. 11.95 @ 122.10

Second pass spun hard, a little excited I guess. 11.56 @ 125.48! New best mph! 1.92 60' lots of room for improvement.

Third pass, great burnout, but too easy on the launch. 1.90 60' - 11.48 @ 124.14

Last try, great burnout, pretty good launch. 1.75 60' Nailed all the shifts and left with a new best! 11.25 @ 125.11!

I'm happy with the results andI can't wait to get some skinnies some 4.10's. I want 10's with stock heads. I'll put the slip up once my laptop gets fixed.

Justin

Actually have never had it on the dyno, so I have no idea what it makes.

MS4 cam, LG pro lt's, FAST 90/90, Vararam, underdrive pulley and a Tex Exo-Skel. Tuned by me using HP Tuners. Stock TI's, strock trans and rear, stock heads and still running heavy chrome stock front wheels.

Awesome times. Which clutch? What rear wheels/tires are you running?

Go to Atco and you may have 10s without the gears.

Nice passes! I agree, go to atco with some skinnies and you'll probably run tens w/o gears b/c of less rolling resistance and lower elevation...what rear tires you runnning?

I need to get some skinnies and get the car to Atco. I'd love 10's on stock gears. I'm currently running 315/35-17 bfg dr's on chrome american racing TTII's that a friend gave me a couple years ago and the stock front chrome wheels with PS2's. There's definately some weight to shed.

How strict is Atco? I have a fire jacket and I'm even licensed, but no bar. I plan on installing one, but not yet. Everytime I run at Island they tell me to slow down or go home.

I have seen them give people the "talking to" for going faster then 11.50 with no bar.

If you get a chance, go to a rental. It seems that they are a bit more relaxed then.
