Default Worked out the tune!!!

So I have been having problems with the car so I decided to work on it a little this week. Here were the problems that caused major issues:

Very rich AFR (even on the 10.54 pass)
The electrical system was having issues
I kept getting a MAF code
Reduced Engine performance over and over
A/C and heat only blows ouyt of the defog

The AFRs have been stuck at 12.0 while driving, 11.5 and richer on the motor tune WOT and then when I sprayed it the AFRs would drop to 10.3 to 9.7 om the nitrous tune WOT.

So me and a friend looked at the car and found the negative post to the batt was a little loose and tightened it up. We took it for a ride to advanced and most of the bucking it was doing under a load in 5th and 6th cleared up but we tested the batt anyway. Batt showed up as bad. Im assuming thats where the MAF code was coming from because it hasnt come back and the car drives great now.

We replaced the batt and come to find out the old batt was leaking down into the tray. Now I know why the A/C and heat only blows out of the defog now.

I took the fuel and nitrous lines off the nozzle to see what jets were in it for the 100 shot. NX says a 100 shot is supposed to be 52N and 28F. I had 52N and 35F in it. So thats why it was running rich as hell. So instead of changing the fuel jet we installed a 62 for the nitrous side and left the 35 for fuel, making it a 150 shot. We hooked the HP Tuners pro kit to it and did a little tuning. The car feels 100X stronger on spray not. We didnt adjust any fuel, timing or anything. Its a perfect 11.8 afr till 6000 rpms and then it drops to the very high 10's which is fine by me. We are getting no knock, and no timing retard while the timing hangs between 18 and 21 degrees. I can thank the NGK BR7EFs for that.

Anyhoo... thats my update for now. Im hoping for a 10.2-10.3 if not better next time out at the track. My laptop went down and waiting for it to get fixed so i will check in on my phone till then. take care everyone!

Congrats on working out the bugs. With sophisticated technology, there are so many variable to consider. Particularly, when one can effect another. Feels like a wild goose chase I'm sure.

Ok... so here is the issues now and I dont even know where to start. LOL I took it out and all the problems are fixed exept for the A/C issue. I went out and jabbed the gas and hit second pretty hard. The check engine light come on as well as the "reduced egine perormance" and here are the codes I pulled.

P1120
P1516

Im assuming the Throttle Actuator control is bad? What can you guys tell me about thi code?

why are you running 12.0 when driving around...the 02 sensors/fuel trims should curve it to 14.63 under normal driving conditions not in PE

I think it had something to do with the bad ground. when im cruising now it stays close to 14.0.

Where is the TPS sensor located on these cars?
