Default 98 228R cam, LS6 intake, and long tubes - results

Finally got the dyno for the cam swap and setup
right at 385hp and 376tq *dynolabs*
A bit better than where i had hoped initially

Specs are a stock 1998 LS1. (stock heads too)
140k miles
TS -228R cam (LS-114)
LS6 intake and valley conversion
Honker cold air intake
LG street Longtubes and x pipe back through a set of flowmasters
no Cats *oops forgot*

Tune was done by a friend, not a shop. That way i can learn it as well

next on the list.
Set of heads to open up the flow a bit more ...stock ones still on it

Is this an auto? Sounds good for an auto, but a little low for a stick although you're missing a few important bolt-ons to maximize the set-up.
I had a similar set-up with my M6 and made 413/387 cam only through 4.10s

Very nice, gotta love these small cams, 200 and 350 at 3k rpms is good. Through ported LS6 heads and still gain more under the curve. is 228 cam a 112 LSA?

Dynolabs: he is POS, phucked up my C4 SR intake, over tighted #6 cylinder RR and had to loose the cam, i used to live in atlanta, and i know that son of a roach.

I think it's still on the LS1 heads

are you speaking of the owner? Just curious? I used to dyno my old toyota there. Haven't taken the FRC yet.

I like the curve though.Who tuned the car?
