It was about 47°F today, with a 25mph headwind. I made a dozen passes. On the last pass, with my buddy video recording it, I made my first foray into the 12's!
Car is stock, except for longtubes, LS6 intake manifold, "flip tie" CAI, and a Z06 Titanium exhaust...
Also, I'm running on Kumho ASX tires (all seasons)..
Here's my slip:
Here's the video:
Comments/inputs appreciated...

congrats on your first 12...whats up with the mph u miss 4th or go through on the limiter? cuz 90mph is decent for your mods in the 1/8 but only 108 in the 1/4 is kinda odd to only pick up 18mph in the 2nd 1/8 mile....keep at it
The run was my best. I did not miss a shift or anything like that. I am not very familiar with 1/8th mile numbers, so I can't comment on that. Thanks for the feedback..
Looked up my first 12 second run... it was May 8, 2007. The car ran 12.997 at 107.8 MPH, my reaction time was -.003.
Mods at that time were: zip-tie intake, LT's with stock mufflers, LS6 intake and a 2800 TC.
Congrats. I tried running at that track but they wouldn't let me run without a roll bar. I usualy go to Ubly. It's a nice track and you can get in as many runs as you like with no wait.

Got your PM. CONGRATS!! That is moving for the few bolt on mods you've done to her AND considering she's over 100K in miles! SWEET!
I nearly went to Milan yesterday (was a weak moment)...I'll never set myself up to go there and sit around for 3 hours waiting to make a pass. Ubly or Lapeer is the way to go.
Have some small parts issues in my carb linkage that prevented me from going. Just plan on replacing some 44 year old parts.
Unless the weather moderates, think I'll just hold off 'till spring.
Sorry for sidetracking your success at the track.
Congrats again and look forward to seeing you in the spring.
'65 Vert, 2-tops, Sweet Thunder side exhausts, 327/300 now has a "mule motor" 327 dressed as a 365 Horse with '461 Iron Heads (2.02/1.5's), 3.70 Posi, M-20, power nuthin'-'cept antenna AND Classic Auto Air, owned 28 years, on the road 9...smilin' all the time!!

Jim,
Thanks for the comments! I agree, Lapeer (and Ubly) are definatly a better bet. Sure the track prep isn't quite as good as Milan, but I'm not so good that a tenth is going to affect my career...I just need practice, and at Lapeer you get plenty of that...

think of it like this...you gained 90 mph in the first 1/8...and doubling the distance only got another 18...thus why i asked the questions about a missed gear or running out 3rd to the limiter...I believe when i had my old 99TA 6sp I went 85 or 86 in the 1/8 when i did 108.8 in the 1/4 which is around a 22-23mph gain which is about right for a stockish LS1
