Default 16 inch drag radial and 6spd

Anyone running radial with a 6pd? Was thinking about trying it but i know its harsh on drivetrain.

Hey Kyle ...yes a few manual trans guys (RobZ and Russ with the rear mount turbo Z06 to name a couple) are using 16" Hoosier or Mickey Thompson drag radials, quite successfully too.

i´m using 16" 26x11.5x16 et-street , best 60ft 1.63, still a little bit spinning...
here in Iceland it´s colder and we aren´t using any trackbite....

i´m gona buy 27" et street next season.

Depends.... Taller side wall so IF it hops, it will be softer on the drivetrain. Just be careful with tire pressure. Start really high and work your way down till it just spins a little off the line.

If you go out with 10# and launch at 5k, then yes, it will be painful. If you start at 18#, you should be fine.

I'm on 16" MT ET Streets (bias) and getting ready to try the Hoosier Radials.

Hey Mark! I didnt know Rob was on a radial. I think I may give them a shot.

I love my drag radials on the street. They work really well on the strip too. I ran my P305/35R18 MT ET Street radial 2's to a 9.91@145 with a 1.61 60 foot last week. I couldnt get much more out of them launching on nitrous, but they are so stable up top...

I've used a few others, but this new MT ET Street 2 is awesome (IMO)
