Default Knocking on 11s with 336rwhp

Hit Englishtown last night and got to make a whopping two runs in 5 hours as is customary of that awful track. Made me remember why I haven't run there in years...

Anyway my setup is a 1999 FRC with Vararam B2, LS6 intake, ported stock throttle body, MGW shifter, GHL catback, TTP tuned, and 315/35/17 BFG drag radials at 3260lbs raceweight. Still running stock exhaust manifolds, cats, and original 58k mile clutch!

Here's my second pass of the night and best slip to date.

r/t......0.110
60'.....1.805
330....5.147
1/8....7.884
MPH...90.33
1000..10.221
1/4....12.190
MPH...114.76

With a touch more stick the car will certainly go 11s

Damn good driving Jon. No Video? You should have a real good shot at 11s this fall when it gets a little cooler.

It was a dissaster at E-Town, between a flipped over car, multiple cars leaving parts and fluids on the track and the general confusion - even the tech line was extreemly slow.

My buddy forgot to bring his mini-dvd recorder but we did have a cheapo camera in the stands recording our runs... that will get posted hopefully today

Hey it's cool to see you here Warren, I had meant to ask if you knew about CF but it completely slipped my mind. It was good talking to ya!

Good job Jon, you're gettin' there.
You're gainin' on me fast too, I just ran a 12.03 (and hit 118.03mph on another pass) last Saturday at E-town in my Vette so we'd probably be a good race. I think you might beat me into the 11s too.

Thanks Marc! Let me know when you hit Atco again and we'll have to get in a heads up run

Nice run, glad to see some people put practice in driving to get their times down before spending gobs of cash on superchargers, turbo, or even juice.

I wish I took another season to try and get my bolt on time down. I know I could have done a lot better than what I had. Three trips to the track didn't really help me get my time down

Don't think you will need to retune with the LS6 -- it will make a difference.

I did the Vararam, ported TB, and LS6 intake all at the same time and headed for a tune "just in case". As it turned out the car was 14.5+ a/f at WOT at 3500rpms and just going leaner. I also had a tune on the car prior to doing the intake work. I would definitely recommend at least heading to a dyno or plugging in a wideband to verify a/f ratio after doing the work.

As for conditions it was ~59* with a density altitude of 263' iirc. I launch around 4500rpms slipping the clutch on my DR's.

Hope this helps and any more questions feel free to ask.
