I would hardly call any product Kenne Bell produces "Junk". Their new designed blowers are excellent. Im sure if you want to throw one on a 346ci then you would want to go with one of their rather larger displacements such as the 2.8L. I had a 2.2L on my '03 Cobra (I know its a little different but...) and it was a beast. 18 lbs of boost and I made 650 to the wheels! The way the boost kicks in very similar to nitrous from what im told. I really miss my Cobra... but im hoping my Vette is eventually as fast or faster.

I will say that Corvette owners are a totally different breed from Mustang drivers. Mustang drivers love Spec clutches and positive displacement blowers or any supercharger for that matter because they have to make up for the lack of displacement Ford seems to wanna cheat their customers with.

LSX owners seem to love to go with all motor and it seems to work because the power can be made without power adders. When was the last time you heard of a NA 281ci making 500+ on all motor? Very rare is possible at all. This the reason I made the switch but stayed away from the cocky-*** Fbody drivers that seem to think they are the ****!

I looked at the KB before I built the 403 N/A. The hood really turned me off.

The ECS/Paxton kit has powered the fastest supercharged C5 period, so dont always believe everything you read. I have also hit upper 5's in the eighth with a full weight street car. My vert just went upper 117's in the 1/8th with a 346/ Paxton. Plus it did not have crazy 4.10 gears in an auto, just a driveable 3.42.
I have never seen results like that from a Procharger in a Vette, but the closest one that did was with our ECS/Procharger C5 kit and a 427.

Default Kb

I strongly considered a 2.8L KB. My problems were: 1) the phone is busy 100% of the time 2) if you have a problem(others have said) you must e-mail & wait for a reply. based on the telephone problem, that method does not inspire confidence 3) "no dealer" policy makes me uneasy 4) question...since they must be busy, why don't they hire more help? someone close to them said they had hired more, to which I would respond" you didn't hire enough yet".....the same member said to PM him anytime with questions, that too was a waste of time 5) I think they have a good product. We raced Top Alcahol at one time. The day P.S.I. & Whipple became legal every non-hi-helix car was an also ran. Too bad it is so hard to connect (and get tech support later) because the low RPM response of this type blower is unmatched by anything except huge displacement which a 'Vette does not have My 2 cents only

He's speaking the truth. I think that car has also run high 9's. His name is racerrob333 or something similar. MTI Racing does the work on his car.

EDIT: It ran a 9.75 according a post in the FI section and is running a 3.73 gear.

Thanks man, I have talked to KB a few times and they have been sorta ***-holies to me. I mean they think everyone in the world knows about these blowers and that guy that I talked to didnt know his butt from a hole in the ground. NOT that I know everything
