Carolina Corvette Challenge
Yesterday was race 3 of the Carolina Corvette Challenge at Carolina Dragway. It was a great event and I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to have a great time hanging out and racing corvettes. The participants as well as the dragway staff were a joy to meet. There were a variety of corvettes from stock to modified. I was number one qualifier with a time of 11.109 @ 121.13 for the 1050 DA conditions. I meet up with the number two qualifier in the final round and defeated him with a better reaction time. Check out the website at Carolinacorvettechallenge.com. Hope to see you in the fall. Danny.

Nice! I am sceduled to move to the area (Augusta) next summer, and I can't wait to run this track. Looks like I need a roll bar and harness finaly. Do they do test and tune? What is the Vette turn out normaly like. Thanks!

Dave, I just replied to your email. Thanks for the interest.
Turnout has been low as this is the first year for the Carolina Challenge but we have hope it will grow.
Lot's of time trial time before races as the the Challenge is pretty much running by itself at the time.
Look forward to having us join the Challenge.
Be safe out there

Edgar,
Email sent and a donation to the event. Looks great! I am used to running at a small track with some F bosies, mustangs and few non-street cars. Great to have a short time in the lanes, but I would rather hang with more vette brothers. Cajun left, JoshZ06 is going and MSG Huff is home now on R and R (insert I am so lony song from Team America...) Looking foreword to meeting you guys and gettin treed by you
