Default should I use the vette panel adhesive to fill new seems

well I got my car back and have to fill the seems on the new fender what should I use as a filler over the bonding strips exposed line ,, fiberglass , vette panel adhesive ,, both

Either way will work fine. Some people like to grind out along the the panel lines and lay in some fiberglass mat and finish with vpa. I have been redoing fender seams on C3’s with just vpa for many years and never had any problem. I did my own car that way.

Yeah i used VPA, i took a mini disc grinder at an angle to remove and bevel the pieces to remove as much old crud as possible to have a fresh and better bond. shaped it back and finished with a light coat of regular filler for final sanding and primer.

Heh. I know..... We used Vette Panel Adhesive. Although not as hard, it works well on top of fibre glass.

Depends
What is your outcome?
Do you want an NCRS paint job or not
If not v groove them and you can fill with VPA
If not you can leave them

I work on the weekends I dont really get to check in ,, The seam area I have to cover is a half inch I will use fiberglass first ,,then the VPA thank you
