'79 Bumper Damage - Pics
Well, I let off the clutch while thinking I was in Neutral and the Vette went through my house. I'm lucky that only the bumper is damaged.
The front bumper is new and the whole car is newly painted. I went with a True-Flex front bumper as the replacement - before this accident. Its not really flexible IMO. The fiberglass is cracked and busted - but not all the way through.
I would really like to salvage this bumper (rather than replace it) since it has already been fitted to the rest of the car.
Do you think that it is possible to repair this one?

ABSOLUTELY!! It can be repaired....but the "fresh" paint can give you shrinkage issues in the future.

I would remove the bumper because I would NOT re-paint/blend the color and re-clear it with it being on the car....but that is just me...and who ever does this will need to be REALLY careful so they do not get too much of the blending color to build up at the edge of the bumper where it meets the front clip...or your color will not match.
AS for a price...hard to "say"...start to finish it can run into $600+/-...and this is only a quess-timate.
