Default How do I correct this chip?

Its actually more of an inverse chip, the right side is actually raised uip into a bump. I don't know how it happened but I saw this after cleaning up from a road trip.

Any suggestions on how to correct?

Unless you wish to have a shop grind the star out and repair, then refinish the panel I'd simply live with it. That injury has poked the actual glass outward from the inside... stone or possibly a chunk of metal thrown up from the road.

I don't know what caused it but I have the exact same thing. I don't like it, but see no easy way to fix it myself. It's been on the nose of my 09 for a couple of years. Your probably the only one who see it.
