Ask them exactly what process they will use to repair the crack.

How will they make the new paint on the hood match the rest of the car?

Need photo's...or a good description on their location on the hood...because where the crack are located makes a big deal in getting them repaired correctly.

Remember that your hood is two pieces. It has an undersrtucture...that if the cracks are in it also...they should be repaired or you may be repairing it agian.

with zwede. You need to find out what they are planning on using for the crack repair.

And just in case you did not know. Stress cracks in SMC (sheet molded compound) which is what your hood is made out of...knowing how to repair it is important due to the charastics of a stress crack in SMC is often times much different than that of a stress crack in a NON-SMC panel that is made out of fiberglass. IF "they" do not remove all of the distressed SMC....when repairing it....you may have an issue in the future....ESPECIALLY on the location of the stress crack.
