Removing Wax on rear defuser

Unfortunately I got some wax on the rear air defuser on my C6 and I can't seem to remove it. Its a plastic dimpled surface and I can't seem to get the wax out from surface divots.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Wax and grease remover from a paint and body supply store. 3M's "General Purpose Adhesive Remover" can be used. Also I have used "pine-sol" and water...which will also remove wax. I have also used "baby-oil" to soften up the wax so it can be removed. Just test a small spot when the plastic is not hot or in the sun. An old toothbrush may also help in getting the wax loosened up and off without damaging the surface. It may take several applications ...depending on how hard the wax has been allowed to get. Just be PATIENT and do not get frustrated.
