Default Paint tips - Astro Ventilation area ???

I was looking over the car today as I'm getting ready to spray the door jams and rear vents and a few other little areas when it occured to me that the Astro Ventilation drain area will be a real prick to paint without getting massive runs and amounts of paint building up.

The best idea I've had is to spray from the inside first then spray from the rear deck top area.

I'm open to suggestions on the best way to approach these.

Tape up the surrounding area and 'cut-in' the vents to your liking. When it comes time to do the rest of the car, stuff the vents full of paper and then refinish the rest of the car. My question is, is it dirty down there(clean it real good)and if not, why not just do it all at once??

It's all been soda blasted inside the vent area - the rest of car other than a few hard to get spots was hand sanded.

Reason I'm not doing it "all at once" is so that I can have better control over the quality and reduce the chance of screw ups on my behalf.
