Default Need advice on removing carbon fiber overlays

What would be the best way to remove my overlay carbon parts that I put on my door panels, because I need to switch them for my new leather door panels? When I installed I used 3M tape (no glue) and put over my existing parts such as my push door opener button and power lock bezel. Thanks in advance.

Maybe use a heat gun or hair drier to warm up the spotw where the tape is and then slowly pull them off?

Try it out on something else with that kind of tape and see if it loses it's tackiness when heated up.
