Z06 knock-off fenders

Where is a good place to get Z06 knock-off fenders that will go on a C6 (2005) convertible? I know people who have done this but their big complaint is they didn't fit quite right so the body shop had a hard time making them fit and had to make some changes. And of course I'm looking for best bang for the buck. Thanks

Sorry I can't help you with a contact...because when I repair the Z06's...and the fenders need to be replaced. I go to GM and pay the $$$$ for them. Due to their compostiton being carbon fiber...the only other option is using the fenders for a NON-Z06. I have not done this...so I do not know it it will work. But I can not see why not.

And yes...I can agree with the others that stated that the aftermarket fenders were hard to fit. This is due to the molds for making the fenders are not a precise as what GM has....and that is why they are less expensive.

I run into aftermarket parts for other areas of the car ...and most of my time is getting parts to fit due to poor workmanship and or design changes so "they" can make them cheaper.
