Default Tech Tipping Question...

Ive made friends with my Tech at a local dealership, he is going to hook me up and install a new Z bumper cover for me. It should take no less than 1 hr and no more than 2 hrs to install. I think the going labor rate is $70.

So, my question is... if he's hooking me up how much should I show him my appreciation so we both benefit?

Ask him what percentage of that $70 he would normally get if it was installed there at the dealreship and then do the math....and then add some to that. IT will be caheper than paying full price. You do not want to "wear out" a good "hook-up". These days...cash works best.
