Default Iwata Question for the Porch Dog

Being a Gun Junky I just picked up an Iwata 400 with 1.3 tip and Orange and Purple Air Caps- About to spray Single Stage Epoxy- Would you use the 1.3 or go to larger 1.4 1.5 ?
I've been using a 1.4 Sata 2000 ....Not a bad piece- but I just had to "run with the Big Dogs" and try an Iwata

- Your sage advice is always appreciated, Sir

you need a silver cap also. i have all the caps and a 1.3 and 1.4 tip. the 1.4 puts down the epoxy thicker. the 1.3 will do most anything else.
the iwata is a whole new game from the sata. it has a soft fan and is designed to get up close. on universal clear i run 2.5 turns out on fluid and 20 lbs at the gun. it takes some time to get use to the distance and overlap but once you do you'll kick your other guns .

Porch, Thanks- Heard all the Good- Gotta see what it's all about-
I tend to Spray close anyway so I guess that's good- 30% overlap or what would you call it?

1.3 Not enough for Single stage? I was gonna try it with the Orange Cap.... Silver cap is for ?? Hope all's good, -Thanks

50-75% overlap. the 1.3 is fine but the orange and purple cap will make it tuff.
orange cap is for base
purple cap is for silvers and such
