'85 Targa top

Is an 85 fiberglass top made of SMC too? The one I am looking at has damaged corners and dings but its cheap. I dont mind putting in the time on it if the repair I make will last well. I need to know for sure what materials to use to fix it. Any help is appreciated! TIA!

The top is made out of SMC. I would use West Sytems epoxy resin and fiberglass matt. But without detailed photo's...that is as far as I can help you. Just make sure that the frame is NOT CRACKED and that the outer skin is not delaminating away from it. That would make it "MORE FUN" to repair than you may want to do.
