I just did my first wash today and am
VERY impressed with the results.
Didn't scratch or mar her at all..
I used a new Lake Country Blue sponge from AutoGeek it's $5
http://www.autogeek.net/car-wash-sponge.html and, my dual water guzzler drying towels from the geek and they worked wonderful, along with a single wash bucket. I used a regular empty spray bottle and made the a batch of detailer strength ONR and presoaked some areas with heavy soil at the fender bottoms, as well as the wheels, and wheel wells to my surprise it removed most of the
week old debrit with
NO pressure at all even the typical Florida bug mess came off without a fight.
I think the gloss is amazing. I also like the fact we can use it as a clay lubricant. I can attest it works great as that also. I had a few tar stains and couldn't resist trying it. All in all the car came out great other than the fact Mother Nature had a sense of humor no sooner she's all done and the tire and plastic dressing was applied it started raining on her and I
I did some thinking though and was wondering if anyone could explain why you need 8oz to a gallon to make the detailer strength and only 1oz to 1-2 gallons of water for washing the vehicle?? Seems like it should be the other way around..
A little note on water spots..NONE,ZERO,ZILCH almost to easy..miss a spot you thought you cleaned just use the detailer strength and hit it and your set..
I believe from now on this will be my staple wash. I traditionally used Meguiars Detailers line, but after using this stuff and seeing the speed that you can get the same results as or better this is definetly the way to go..
