Default Anyone like to Photoshop for fun?

I was wondering if there were anyone out there that likes to mess around with Photoshop for fun. I have an idea for some stripes on my C5, but I'm not really sure what it would look like on the car. I saw on another thread a while back where somone had made a few Photoshoped images for a guy, so he could try out a few different colors on his car. If there is anyone that would be willing to do this please let me know.

I use photoshop, but I am not an expert on it. I have never done stripes, but I could give it a try if you want. It would probably work best if you have a picture with no shadows in the area you want changed. Duplication of shadows is a PIA You would want a good clear color sample to sample from, again with no shadows, because the sample color will be duplicated on the car photo. Basically, it would be changing pixels from one color to another.

Well, I think I have sort of a tall order. After reading your post, I realized the pictures I have to work with aren't ideal. There are some shadows on the car. Here they are anyway:

and here's the kind of stripe I want to put on it:

Like I said that might be rather hard to do...
I think I just need to get ol' Chip Foose to do one of his drawings for me. He's the man! His time is probably worth like $1000 an hour! So I don't think I'll be getting a drawing from him anytime soon.

I am at work and for some reason the pictures do not show up here. Let me check it out when I get home.

I have not forgotten! I replaced the gear in the passenger side headlight motor, and while it worked out, it took longer than I thought it would. A few glitches that were not mentioned in the threads.

I will work on it this week.

Hey, no problem sir! I just appreciate you taking the time to humor me. I'm not sure of a better way to get a good idea of what this would look like. I think It would look really nice, but I'm just not sure. I just really would like a paint job that stands out without looking cheap. 95% of C5's you see are solid color, and I just want something different. Thanks again!

Sorry I took so long, but this will give you an idea of what to expect. I think it would look great, go for it.

Thanks Les!
That looks pretty good. I know photoshopping takes some time, and I appreciate your effort.

I tried, but I could not get anywhere near as good as Les 94 Comp Yellow. He did a fantastic job. Having worked in Photoshop I know how hard it was.
