rust repair and paint tips

soon i will be doing rust repair and paint touch up on my 2000 suburban.
(i am going to drive this thing until the wheels fall off)
it is pewter in color and the rest of the paint looks good, so i don't want to repaint the whole thing.
anyone have tips for rust hole repair, rust inhibiting, painting, blending?

All depends on how many panels are effected by rust holes....and where the rust holes are located. Phot'os would be great so I can see your issues with this car. Also...if you are going to keep it "til the wheels fall off" ....then repairing it correctly would be in your best interest...or you may be doing it again due to repairing it the "BUBBA" way.

So many way to repair a rust hole...but one thing to remember...if you have damage in every panel...it is useless for me to try to advise you on how to spot paint these areas when they would need to be clearcoated entirely to give you a good job. Spot painting the basecoat color is fine...but spot clearing the clear coat is not something that I advise...due to the outcome ...will...in time...look like crap....BECAUSE clearing them entirely always gives the best outcome...over the long haul.
