How Much Should I Expect It To Cost...?
Had to happen eventually. Some idiot backed into my 1980 red vette. Goodbye original factory paint job.
Luckily...no structural damage and the paint damage is confined to the door. Now obviously they guy is going to try and get away with just having the door redone?
Is there even the remotest possibility of the body shop being able to match the paint? Or am I going to end up with a two tone red car?
The obvious solution is for me to consider paying the difference (I'm trying to be fair but I want my car to look right) and just get the whole car done.
But so I don't get "taken for a ride" I need to know what a quality paint job costs these day, cause I have no idea.
