The Corvette Marque Club of Seattle (CMCS) All Corvette Show at the XXX Root Beer Drive-In in Issaquah is slated for Sunday July 30th 2023. REGISTRATION COST:
Early Registration – $25.00 - Discounted registration of $25 available if you register before July 1st, 2023. All registrations after July 1st will be at the higher day of show rate of $30.
Preferred Parking – $35.00 - Preferred parking in Rows A & B. Limited to 35 vehicles.
DAY OF ACTIVITIES:
Registration: 7:30 am to 10 am Judging: 10 am to 12:30 pm Awards/Trophies: at 1:00 pm Raffle Prizes: awarded throughout the day Music: DJ Mr. Cliff lays down the tunes Great Food & Root Beer: All day long!
I went ahead and pre-registered also. I usually don't pre-register for shows just in case of weather or life happening, but the long range forecast for the 30th is looking good.
For me, this show is about the cars and the venue. As if I need an excuse to eat a burger.
Best Show in Puget Sound Area, NEEDS a Better Bigger Location
We've kicked this around a few times in our club. Bigger = More expense, more risk, more work. XXX has so many shows it's a well-oiled machine at this point and makes putting on a show more manageable. We could expand into the parking lot across the street, but people across the street feel they are at a disadvantage when it comes to voting for a trophy winner. There are no doubt ways to mitigate some of these issues, we just don't seem ready to make that leap yet.
Clubs in Salem,OR and the Tri Cities manage to pull off multi day, multi night Shows, Dinners , Live Music etc etc
Is it true that XXX is Currently charging $18 for Cheeseburger and Fries ??????

The XXX burger with fries is now actually $24.75. There are less expensive options but count on $18 as a minimum. Shakes are also good, but pricey.
Basic rule of marketing is setting prices as high as possible without reducing demand, and they certainly are doing that.
