Thank you. Lucky for me, my 15 year old rivet gun worked just fine.

Just put down a base of polish and glaze, then 5 coats of wax and sprayed with detailer. I would have added a picture, but the car is so shiny the only thing you would have seen is a reflection of what was behind me. Like a mirror I tell ya

Anyone who has seen my work can testify this is only the slightest exaggeration...

Don't you just love polishing those gloss black wheels

Really, Mike? Makes me wonder what your "old" car must smell like.

Sorry, just had to say it...

I've been trying to diagnose why the 355 I just finished building was running hotter than I liked and discovered it was a vacuum advance canister that no longer held vacuum (it was on the MSD distributor that I've had on the car since the '90s). I had a new one, so I popped that on, went for a test drive and the temperature is perfect. Now I need it to stop raining.

Looks like a good turnout, especially for the "iffy" weather. Any comments or observations?

There was one guy with a blue C7 with a splitter by ACS. Pretty nice. Too bad he wouldn't give me the time of day. The rest of the participants were pretty nice, though.

Loved the 81 owned by a vet. He told me he was thinking of getting a personalized plate which says "VETSVET". I said, Go for it!

took all the golf equipment out of the back of my C6 and placed it in my SUV.. it was raining so the C6 stayed home - high and dry. that is about it for what I did to it today.

Well....

Nothing today, but last Friday I sold it. Long story, but I hope to be back in one soon.

It was a difficult decision...

You're still a Corvette brother to us - it's in the soul, not just the ownership!

Joe, I am sorry to hear that. Do not be a stranger. You are welcome to attend any of our gatherings even if you temporarily do not own a Corvette. And you can drive one of mine to any or our gatherings.

Hmmm. Last time you did this, you went from a C5 to a C6. Are you just laying low for a while to surprise us with a C7 in the future?

Surprised to hear of this Joe. I trust you have a plan in mind and the decision had nothing to with Poodle Girl and his antics. Hope you'll still be hanging out with us until the new car arrives.

I agree. You can't just disappear. BTW, apologies Phil if my comment about our age affended you. Old f*rt was meant as a term of endearment held in high esteem.

Personally I think you and Joe should go shopping for new Vette's together
