Adding you to the list John.

Lucky you. You get Anita's portion of the drinks and food!

Small windows of opportunities in the PNW for activities and events. We'll catch up with you guys next time.

I'm actually going to miss this years Camaro show. I'm slumming with the fine folks at NAS Pensacola presently. What's the name of those oysters your recommend? Last time I was here red tide or something similar had ruined the harvest.
Apalachicola oysters - best in the world. Enjoy!

So, since Phil would rather be with his family (not sure it's reciprocal) rather than be my date...I'll bring my bean salad. I'm sure the one I made for Aaron's is still good.......or maybe that's what made me sick.

Oh well, guess we'll find out Saturday.

Hope your avatar isn't a preview of what you'll be serving.

They have oysters in West Virginia?

Just kidding of course, but I've never heard of such delicacies.

I guess it really doesn't matter, the last time I had a half-dozen oysters on a dinner date, only 3 of them "worked"

Jeez, I crack myself up sometimes...

For the third time, Walter, you're confusing "date" with my doctoral thesis project.

It looks like pulled pork again. Costco didn't have any briskets. I'll bring buns and BBQ sauce.

Well at least your pulled pork is passable. I'm sure everyone will be able to force it down.

Great day....good folks and great company. Thanks Joe and Laurie for opening up your home....even the servants egress and facilities are very nice. Only downside to that was not having access to Fred's pulled pork. Thankfully, there was a ton of other....and beautifully prepared BBQ....nice job Joe's!

I hope to see you all again in a few weeks.

Why not? Were you afraid to go into the kitchen? Not my best, but still pretty darn good.

Laurie and Joe, thanks for the invite to a great GTG. We had a great time and the company and food was good. I'm so glad to see my first ever car lift found such a good home.

My wife Joy and I had a very nice time as we did at Jen and Aaron's before. Thank you Joe and Laurie for your hospitality. And my wife did not roll her eyes when I talked about the lift in the garage.
The compressed watermelon was fascinating and tasty as well.
Thanks again,
Peter

Thanks everyone for coming out and spending your Saturday with us. The weather held and the temperatures were a little more manageable so it was perfect for a day outside socializing and grilling.

The company was top tier, the food was great and plentiful. The compressed watermelon does stand out this time as unique, thank you Fred. I think there is more potential in that concoction. The pulled pork was delicious as always. Maybe you should open a Fred's bbq. The PNW could use a real bbq joint.

Walter there is a still a little bean salad left you forgot to save to add to the next batch. I just remembered to mention the coffee to Laurie thank you.

Peter and Joy one more GTG and you are going to become regulars. Thanks for the desert. Speaking of regulars Jeff and Kim thanks for joining us. You both looked great and your doing something right with the beer and blueberry desert also. You can taste the homemade. Be sure to post when you find your C6 or if you want a closer look at a blown car just holler.

Gregg lets drop that 4x4 shouldn't take us long. Maybe the next gtg is a dropping a corvette clinic. Jeff and Donna thank you for bringing the upside down pineapple cake. It was another hit with the gang. All I saw left last night was mostly crumbs. Good luck with the search and have a safe drive to BG.

Aaron let Jen know she is my favorite for the time being she will know why. Do you have the contact info for the shop down your way. I like your suggestion for a solution closer to your place.

Joe and Jeanette your finer grill options are always appreciate. It was consumed as quick as it came off the grill.

Bruno let Gail know she tosses a mean salad. Maybe I could give up red meat Gail was preparing the healthier menu.

Mark thank you for the fine wine. Fine wine and chauffeur service are a good combo for you. Lucky guy.

We had a great time. Looking forward to the next one.
