Anyone go to PIR cruise in on Wednesdays?
I didn't know about these until the last one last year. I missed the first one last week, but I'll be there for sure tonight.
I did a search and didn't see a mention of it.

Beaches Cruise-in: Pre-1974 cars and trucks, Corvettes, Vipers, motorcycles and exotics are welcome on the show field. Free parking outside the gates for everyone else, and two shuttles run throughout the evening if you don't want to make the short walk in.

It's every Wednesday night. The weather doesn't look too good for tonight, but I heard there was well over 1000 cars there opening night last week. I'll have my baby washed and on the grass by 6.

We've had a Mt Hood Corvettes night there for the past few years (we get preferred parking!)

Very cool. My girlfriend and I will be joining the Rose City club soon, but this is more of an all around enjoyment. Eventually my '66 C10 will be done and there, but the car will do for now.
Just did a quick wash so she will be mostly clean for tonight. Can't be all dirty and stuff.

Safety Car
I was there and it was the biggest turn out I have ever seen and I have seen some big turn outs. I heard there was over 2000 cars and I can believe it. It was completely full as far back as you can get and then some. They was going to park me way back in the back and this was about 4:30 and I told the girl my car would drag out so she let me squeeze in in the middle of the area.

I was in the next to the last row next to a 442 wagon. There were a ton of nice cars, I hope to make at least a couple a month this year.

I was there last week and hope to be there this week as well. A lot of very nice cars and great turnouts.
My top will likely be off.

I go a couple of times a year and always have a good time. It's always well attended with different cars every week. There's drag racing going on at the same time so there's lots to see.

I am going to try to make it when it's nice. It's only about 30 minutes from my place and for $5 + a couple beers, it makes for a good Wednesday. I'm a car/bike fan in general, so I get a kick out of what shows up.
After my '66 C10 is finished, my lady and I go back and forth over her project as well as my next one. I say a '64 Impala, she likes the '63 for me. She originally wanted a '68 Camaro, but now she has seen so many she has lost interest. If she can't decide, I'm buying her a C5 A4 can calling it a day.
