FS: The Ticket for Lifting Your 'Vette Quickly, Safely and Easily
SOLD
I made the setup to use with my C6 but I'm relatively sure it will work for others as well. It's a slick system that gets your car in the air quickly and keeps it there securely. The system consists of the following items and modifications (pictures follow description):
1. An extra long reach/extra low Omega 29023 jack for the front of the car that I have modified by attaching an adjustable cross beam. The beam is bolted on so it can be removed but I just leave it attached all the time. This gets you all the way back to the front preferred jacking location and the crossbeam adjust to hit the two jacking points on each side.
2. A second floor jack for the rear of the car with a shorter crossbeam. This crossbeam has a pin that goes through the saddle to secure it to the jack. The pads on the ends of the crossbeam can be removed and moved if necessary.
3. 2 cross beams mentioned above - both have saddles welded to the undersides that fit around and into the saddles on the stands.
4. 4 jack stands that match the crossbeam saddles.
This is a slick setup that stores very compactly. Cost to replicate without modifications is around $600.
Asking $400 with local pick-up and possible delivery in the Puget Sound area.
Let me know if you have questions.
