More autocross events!!
The Northwest Association of Corvette Clubs (NWACC) will be hosting 5 events at Sanderson Field in Shelton this season. The dates will be:
May 4th
June 15th
July 13th
August 10th
September 14th
We will also be hosting an autocross Novice School on Saturday, June 14th. This is open to all, the only requirement is that you have a performance-oriented sports car.
Also on August 3rd, there will be another autocross at Portland Int'l Raceway hosted by Rose City Corvettes. The following day Monday, August 4th there is a open track day.
I will have event flyers posted here about 30 days prior to each event and I'll update this thread The Rose City event flyers/registration forms are already posted. You don't have to be a member of a Corvette club and we even allow other marques to run with us.
If anyone has any questions, please send me a PM, post a reply here, or send me an email thru the CF.

I don't yet have a helmet but I understand I can borrow one to fit my fat head?

Our next two events are coming up quickly. August 3rd is the Rose City Corvettes autocross to be held at Portland Int'l Raceway.
On Sunday August 10th, we're back at Shelton for the NWACC Autocross #5. The gate and registration will open at 7:00 AM with the first car out about 9:00 AM. We expect to get the usual 8 runs in and lunch will be available. Non-Corvettes are welcome!

Thanks!
Just wanted to say "Thanks" George for making the event happen this weekend. It was my first with the Corvette folks and it was a great time, 8 runs on a fast challenging course. If my video's came out OK I will post them to show what the course looked like. (for the people that didn't get to ride with me...)
I had a good time helping people out and I hope that they learned some from the limited time I had to work with them. Maybe next time I get there I can lead a course walk or something...

Our next event is Sunday September 14th. The Viper guys will have their event on Saturday so it looks like another fun weekend and the close to our season.
I'll have Sunday's results posted on the NWACC website in a couple days. Look for your name...
Good luck in Lincoln!!

Bump for last event of the year! Be there or be talked about. Another nice day but there could be traffic issues in Olympia so plan ahead.
See you there!

This is our last of our 5 NWACC autocross events of the season. Seems like we just started last month... Gates and registration opens at 7:00AM and first car out will be at 9:00AM.
For you folks planning on coming out to Shelton on Sunday, expect some delays on I-5 through Olympia. With the construction project at Exit 104 (US101 to Shelton) going on, only 2 lanes southbound will be open. But driving down here on Sunday morning may not be that bad especially if you come through around 6:00 to 6:30.
Unfortunately going back northbound, you will see some backups US101 exiting onto I-5 will be the biggest problem and expect slow traffic going north on I-5 for a few miles. Only two lanes going north will be open but just in the construction area. The last 1/4 mile of 101 (on-ramp) will be down to one lane and the on-ramp at I-5 has been relocated.
Going south on I-5 from US101 shouldn't be as bad.
The weather looks great Temps will be in the mid-high 80's
