I double checked the spelling of Leavenworth....thank goodness Puyallup isn't a likely destination.
I'm always interested in a beer run to Leavenworth. You going to put it together this year? I'm tired of having to lead the pack. Besides, I only have a lowly 6 year old C6. I think a C7 should lead the pack. You think we can drag Phil along this year? Maybe if you promisse to bring some of your 40 year old scotch to the pool party.

By the time late Summer rolls around we "elite" C7 owners will be a dime a dozen. So much for being "Queen for a Day"....remember that Phil? Stan Borson, Wunda Wunda, JP Patches?

But I digress, hell yes I'll organize it, I have a car....so far, this year!

So, let's do it....Superman Edition (1 of 1) will gladly lead the way to Pilsner debachery....assuming we can get Phil on board.....assuming he hasn't traded down for a Porsche......

Oh, god, the opportunity to respond in poor taste is simply overwhelming. In fact I'm laughing out loud to myself over some of the things I could say in response... And if I can figure out how to send a PM I may do so.

I'll give this idea some serious consideration though. Previous threads over the past few years leads me to believe this is sometimes a fun trip. I need to review them to see which trips you went on and which you didn't.

Do I need to get any inoculations or other preventive medical procedures in order to go on this mission? Will I need a passport? You know I am not from this area you know. (oh damn, I think I just left myself wide open with that comment)

I'm going to bed now....

The Wife and I are always up for a Leavenworth Trip! Was just there in December (had the Mom out for a week plus, she's never been to WA) and had a awesome Salmon Burger! Little Snow and stuff....

Wish it was moved up a little on the Calendar, less chance of rain...maybe. But doesn't matter, still lots of fun.

There is a handful of us in Yakima who would love to meet up with you guys in Leavenworth for a brew. Could we coordinate and maybe meet there, it would be nice to finally put some faces to the names! Thanks for considering us.

Sign us up - the last two years have been a blast. Fred has done a great job of organizing the last few years - so having a C7 lead the pack might be great.

Heck yes! Would love to see some new folks! Hope to see some of our Oregon freinds again as well. In fact, this'll be great because everyone's sick of Phil and he's never actually come!

Send me a PM and I give you my cell number....keep it to yourself.....I had to change phones last time Phil got it.....

They actually gave you a phone in your cell? Wish i'd known that before I looked all over every detention center to try to find you and explain I'm no longer going to pay your bail.

I am not going to Leavenworth (again).

Oh, wait, did you mean Leavenworth, Kansas?

I guess i'm persona non grata since you didn't see fit to put me on the list.

And what about you? Are you just going to plan this but not go?

I did a quick check of the Leavenworth events calendar - other than a Quilt Show on Sep 3 -> 7 there were no major attractions scheduled.

Less crowds after Labor Day - but more chance of rain. Is late August out of the question?

Nothing's outta the question....but, my original feeling was a post Summer weekend w/kids back in school would be easier....cheaper....assuming you could get 10 + rooms?

Plus, weather through September has thus far proved to be great....indeed, being a native, September is typically better than most of our Summers IMO.

Quilt show huh.....maybe I'll hold off on finding a date.....

But again, open to any date suggestions. BTY it doesn't appear we'd have a conflict with the Marque Club in early September.

Walter:

Put Sally and I down for attending and dinner at the location of your choice on the date agreed upon. Always a fun get-together with our Corvette friends.

George & Sally
Twisp, WA

PS: I will give a couple local friends with a C6 and C7 a heads up that the event is in the planning stages for 2014
