Oh, Jeez, don't start up with that CYO bunking together business.

You're hardly what I would consider a date.

Is it okay if I continue to send these rude remarks on the forum? I mean, after all, you started this.

Gotta run.... Mary wants to go look at "other" cars. Nothing that would be especially popular in Leavenworth.

Maybe we'll just head up to the casino instead.

Why - is one of them giving the other one money?

Default Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

Does anyone know where that phrase comes from?

Anyway, we've picked a date...
Saturday September 6.

Response from Bavarian Lodge:

Thank you for your interest in Bavarian Lodge for your Corvette Club Trip to Leavenworth on September 6th! We would be happy to accommodate you. We have several rooms available. There are village view rooms open for $189 per night, plus tax (5 with one king and 9 with two queens.) We also have mountain view rooms available for $169 (2 kings, 9 double queens). These rates are based on double occupancy. Any additional guests over the age of twelve would be $15 more per person, per night. Your stay would include a full, hot breakfast each morning. If any of your club members belong to AAA, AARP, the military, they would be eligible for a 10% discount.

We can certainly provide parking for your group. We typically sell out on Saturdays, so I can promise no more than two parking spaces per room. Because we are expanding, parking will be even more limited, so we cannot provide day parking for people who are not staying with us. If you need additional parking for any club members staying at other hotels, you might try contacting the First Baptist Church. They are located right next door and they can provide day parking for a small fee. The number for the church is 509-548-7624.

Yeah, the Church has a Box your supposed to put your "donation" in and enter on a small kb the last 3 or 4 letters/numbers of your license plate....

Used it last year and over the holidays when it was quite ice filled....

Default wenatchee folks

I think there is a Wenatchee club that might have folks interested in running up for the day. If my 65 can move under its own power in Sept I will try to attend.

It is a solid car, but I plan to go through the suspension and basic mechanical stuff this summer so I can drive it with confidence. Last owner had it for 29 years.

Good deal George. I booked mine today and reserved a block for others that are interested in staying over.

With any luck this should be a really fun trip this year with the early Sept. date it may even be nice weather in Leavenworth. Last year it was too chilly to hang out around the Lodge pool before dinner.

Keeping my fingers crossed for clear sunny skies & 70+ deg temps.
