Are you going to take them off your car yourself?
If so, Mike the Powdercoater is often mentioned on CF Gen.
Otherwise I'd recommend Corvettes of Auburn if you're looking for someone local to do all the labor and paint.

I had mine powder coated by Mike the Powder coater off the forum. Went really smooth with the exchange. They have been done for about 3 to 4 years now and they look like they were just done. Very easy to keep clean and looks just great. I had mine done in red and am very happy with the mod. Money very well spent. The cost wasn't that bad. He happened to have a sale going on at the time and I had the dealer swap the calipers for pretty reasonable too. I think the whole thing ran about $600 out the door.

I painted my 2002 myself. You may not remember it, but you saw it. I was driving my '02 when we met. They looked OK, but had no depth.
I had Mike the Powdercoater do my '04 which I don't think you ever did see. I think you were between Corvettes when I had my '04. Anyway, the job on the '04 was so much nicer. I'd go that route again.
Give me a minute and I'll drag up some pictures.

paint will discolor and chip far easier than powdercoat. It's a lot more durable. I think it also looks a lot better because it's much more even

from wikipedia
Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The coating is typically applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin". The powder may be a thermoplastic or a thermoset polymer. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. Powder coating is mainly used for coating of metals, such as household appliances, aluminium extrusions, drum hardware, and automobile and bicycle parts. Newer technologies allow other materials, such as MDF (medium-density fibreboard), to be powder coated using different methods.

Thanks! It was a pleasure meeting you and your wife.
The two pictures that I posted are the 04 that I used to own. They were powder coated Mag Red with the lettering done in silver by Mike the Powdercoater. That car is in North Bend last that I knew and gets driven very rarely. Traded it in back in Aug '08. Now I drive an '04 z06.
