58 FI roadster wins best of show in Vancouver
The Luxury Supercar weekend /Shaughnessy Concours witnessed a major change this past weekend in the Best of Show category. This is a Pebble Beach type show over 2 days in the Van Dusen gardens in Vancouver. Rick and Shari Egelstad won Best in class against some stiff opposition including 3 NCRS Top Flights and then went on to win Best of Show against the usual Ferraris, Lambos, Maserati's, ALFAS, 30's classics and 35 911'S. They received one of the highest point scores ever to take their 58 FI to the top. Rick and Shari did all the work excluding the upholstery at their NW Washington home.

I can vouch for this car as I was also at the show. Certainly it was best in class in my book. The Best of Show was a very pleasant surprise and well deserved. One would be hard pressed to find an owner completed restoration like this anywhere in the Lambo/Ferrari bunch.
