Default Anyone else going to the Hydroplane Museum Aug. 24?

The Saturday, August 24 GTG at the Hydroplane Museum is definitely on. We will meet at the Museum, located at 5917 South 196th Street, Kent at 10 AM and will tour the museum, then leave around 11:30 for lunch at the Claimjumper Restaurant, located at 5901 S 180th St Tukwila.

If not listed as going please respond here on this thread if you will be attending and how many people will be with you. Also, anyone wishing to attend just the Museum or just the lunch may do so. I would like to give the restaurant a reasonably accurate count of the number of people at the lunch, as a courtesy to them. Thank you.

Museum only this time for me. Tacoma Rail has an Open House until 2 p.m. and as I'm a Railfan, I'll be headed there after the Museum tour. I'm also a model railroader so I like to observe as much of the prototype as I can and apply what I see to my layout.

Good times.

If the weather is good and I can get my Vette cleaned up by then (just did 20000 mile road trip) I'll bring my youngest Son along, Museum only. Should add might be a tad late, it's Porsche day at E@RTC....

Default Me +1 for Museum

I've been holding off on this till I got a better sense of the weather - looks like it's going to be acceptable for the old '62, so count me in for Museum only + 1. Looking forward to it!

Hope you all don't mind but I'll probably be driving my DD M3, since I'm hitting up E@RTC first and the wife may come along. I will be bringing the Vette to the TripleX Rootbeer on Sunday...

We're not going to be able to make the museum this time but I should be there for lunch around 11:45 and probably be solo. Sorry to back out of the tour that I was really looking forward to but we have a dog recently out of surgery that requires close supervision (and no, it's not a PoodleGirl before anyone asks).

Thanks so much for the tour Phil and Keith!! It was very cool seeing all the old boats and other memorabilia.

No apology necessary Aaron. I'll host you and Jenn anytime you'd like a tour. Well, that is if i know you're coming.
