Before there was a PNW section on the forum and before we named ourselves the Rootbeer Raiders, a bunch of us Puget Sounders met in the Western states section of this forum. We decided to meet up one Sunday morning at the J.C. Penny's parking lot at the Tacoma Mall and cruise up to the XXX Rootbeer place in Issaquah. We had quite a turnout that day.
The first pic shows my first "Red Racer" and in another, I believe I see Marks green C4. I'm thinking that Keith's red C5 is also in one of those photos. One of the first C6's I'd ever seen is parked next to my car.
Fun times. Wouldn't it be great to do this again??

Great times Joe. I'm game to do this again. I had the C6 rims on my 98 coupe with the smoke top. If I'm not mistaken that C6 either belonged to a guy named Tim ( who has fallen off the face of the map) or Doug Truex. Of course, I am old and I could be completely wrong on both guesses.
Pretty sure that middle picture is me in the grey sweatshirt, and Mark and Ian standing together.
By the way, that had to be one of our best turnouts. It was my first ever Corvette GTG.

C4 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
I remember that one. It was my first GTG also. It was just a few months after I acquired the "way-back machine". If I remember correctly we all met down in Tacoma and drove north to the XXX. That actually was a pretty big turnout.
I've still got my tag as well.

I always wanted to join you guys at the XXX but everyone kind of stopped meeting after that other "Forum" shutdown. I later met Mike (mixermike) and he helped me lower my vette. What a great guy!
Anyone else remember that other Northwest Corvette "Forum"? It was there that I first heard of the Rootbeer Raiders!

Mixer Mike was also kind enough to lower my C5 along with CF member Chief777 one Sunday afternoon at his place. Great guy indeed.

CF member X-ZZ4 was kind enough to get that started for us but before long the powers that be finally relented and created our own Pacific Northwest section.
